At the end of time, the bible describes a tyrannical man who will rule the entire world. He will be a political dictator with power and authority given to him by Satan. By means of religious pressure, political blackmail, force, tyranny, and the threat of death, he will manipulate mankind to do his will.
He will not rule delicately or democratically because he is the Anti-Christ, also called the Beast. His number is described in Revelation, Chapter 13 as 666. 2 Thessalonians, Chapter 2 also speaks of him.
These will be his governing techniques: He will make the inhabitants of the earth worship an image (Revelation 13: 12). He will deceive the inhabitants of the earth with various miracles and signs (Revelation 13: 14 and 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12). He will force people to receive a mark in order to prosper and to live (Revelation 13: 16). He is the ultimate "God-complexer"; yet, God is still in charge (Revelation 17:16-17).
There are God-complexers on earth now, tyrants who rule over the lives of others with an iron fist; but, this man will trump them all and will accomplish what they can only dream of.
There is a dire warning for those on the earth who cooperate with the Beast in order to save their own lives. Read Revelation 14:9-11 to find out what those consequences are.
